About: Orphaned at birth, Jaide was raised in a Demrysk orphanage until he was 15, where he was then sent to train at the Rezzegard barracks, a company of mercenaries. Stripped of all his humanity and emotions, Jaide has only known abuse and cold desolation. He escaped from the Rezzegard at age 20 and became a solo assassin. The Rezzegard have a bounty on his head for desertion and have been searching for him for the last 10 years.
The one thing Jaide has any feeling for is the amaranth flower, the only thing that ever offered him any sort of solace in his life. Also, the woman who bears the same name, and who can see past every thing and awaken the tiny part of him left that is still a man and not a monster.
