Have you ever picked up a book and found yourself wishing you were a part of the story before you? Have you ever read a book and felt the raw emotion drip from every page? If you've never experienced either of these situations, then the chances are that you've never read a story by author Brieanna Robertson. A visit to her website will show you that she's a woman who likes to get to the heart of the matter. She believes in being true to yourself and it is this belief that is a guiding force in her story, The Road Less Traveled.
When Javan wins five tickets to an all-important rock gig, it goes without saying that he needs his best friend Alyx to come along too. She's just escaped from an abusive relationship and a road trip and concert are just what she needs to start getting her life back on track. Accompanied by the shy Maxim DeBoer, who is forced into the journey by his brother, the trio set off on a journey of exploration of mind, body, soul and America.
Taegen lost her brother two years ago, but the pain and sorrow are still fresh for her. She finds it difficult to trust and share emotions, deciding that by hiding away from the rest of the world, she will somehow keep her heart safe. But when a chance meeting with a stranger shows her an alternative path, will she seize the day, or simply retreat back to the cocoon that she has crafted for herself?
Torrey is a man with many passions and a love for life. When he accidentally encounters the same woman twice in one day, he begins to wonder if life is telling him to take a chance on something bigger. Will he listen to the message or simply let her leave him?
To find out which path each of these characters takes is one that as a reader you cannot deny yourself. The Road Less Traveled is a story from the heart, delivered with eloquence, thought, understanding and passion. Each character is written with such quality and detail, that you can't help but find yourself immersed in their journey. This was a very absorbing read and has me reaching for another of this author's works, even as we speak.

Maxim DeBoer was a quiet and shy man. He did not blend so well with
people, or so he thought until one unbelievable road trip.
Alyxandra Oncidezzerro was trying to hold it together. After the
beating she received; she did not think she could ever forget. That
was until the most amazing road trip ever. She found herself again
and something worth holding on to.
The biggest road trip ever was about to happen Alyx, Javan, Maxim
{who had to be pushed into going} were in for a lot of surprises
along the way. They meet up with some more people. There was Torrey
Reed and amazing musician, Teagen Lane, a person with a huge heart.
The five of them meet up with some special people, and have an
adventure on the way.
The Road Less Traveled was Brilliantly Touching and Funny! I could
relate having taken so many road trips myself. The people you meet
along the way will always stay with you. I know I will never forget
these Characters. Brieanna Robertson is a shining star that truly
stands out. Her flare to write about people in their everyday lives
and make you feel apart of it is truly something remarkable. I
enjoyed this book immensely and will be reading it again. I would
love to read a story on Jeff, Alex and Javan.

Well, I'm done and I intend to tell everyone I know who likes to read
about your book. However, I have two things to say about it.
1. Daaaamn! You had me from the start and carried me all the way
through. The characterizations, your style, the settings, the
descriptions… Sorry…lol, am I gushing? Out of all the characters,
I loved your characterization of Maxim.
2. Now for the complaint.
You know how they have those warnings for movies... PG-ratings, and
those warnings on books... Explicit sexual or Violent content. Well,
I think you need to put a warning on your book. You know, like a MW-
rating, as in Medical Warning.
Examples:
AAA - Asthma Attack Alert - for people like myself with asthma
who can't catch their breath from laughing so hard when the humor is
beyond funny.
IIW - Incontinent Issue Warning - for people who laugh so hard
they can't make it to the bathroom in time.
PLAW - People Living Alone Warning - for people who live alone
and laugh so hard they can't breathe and have no one to resuscitate
them.
And you do know that crying can trigger all of the above...right?

Brieanna has created a love story that entangles her characters in the web of modern day pains. Kat, her main character, has a hard time trusting anyone other than her best friend Rochelle, and Jake, a shy, reclusive young man in high school, the first boy she ever kissed and the only one she ever loved. After high school, Kat loses touch with Jake. Her later relationships are doomed and one ends in rape. When she calls Jake’s parents’ house to try and reconnect with him, his father tells her he is dead.
Systematically closing herself off from others, she toughens up and learns martial arts to protect herself. She keeps Rochelle close, but doesn’t allow anyone else in… until the two are assigned to tour and video tape the band Bleeding Passion. There’s something familiar about the singer, something Kat never expected.
Better Than Chocolate is a love story that will have readers laughing, crying and hoping. Brieanna takes her tale on the road and into the unexpected. When I read this story, I felt like the writer knew these characters, that they were her best friends and sat down one night to tell her how they met.
This story is well written, and from an editor’s point of view, an absolute joy to read. I recommend it to anyone that wants a sweet romance, that remembers those shy, gawky, awkward high school years, and the spark in your gut the first time you knew you were in love.

Sophie is an orchestra and choir teacher who has an unusual need to listen to heavy metal music in her off time. Zane Blake is the keyboardist and song writer for Shadow's Rising, but he has lost the music. Standing on stage, just when he finds his muse, a crazy chick flies out of the audience and pile drives him to the stage. True love comes from the strangest circumstances.More than once during this story, I found myself laughing out loud. I struggled for control of myself in order to continue. Brieanna Robertson writes with an incredible sense of humor that brought me great joy. While reading her story about the rock star that fell for an orchestra teacher, I wanted to rush to see what happened to these star-crossed lovers.
